Barnhouse Sound Productions Ltd. is a Sound Production company that offers Sound Engineering, Music Production and Film and Television Post Production Services with Recording Facilities in Qualicum Beach, BC.
Our primary objective when we established Barnhouse Sound Productions Ltd. was to build our culture. Our culture starts with the artist experience; which is a calm,safe,dependable, and respectable sanctuary which is very conducive to creativity and artistry .
Our in house Producer/Engineer Justin LaPointe has 15+ years experience in the industry. Freelance Engineers and Producers always welcome!
We have on-site accommodations for out-of-town guests!

Location
We are located in Qualicum Beach which is in the middle Vancouver Island; two hours from Tofino and two hours from Victoria. Take a break from recording and go surfing in Tofino, or go experience the thriving arts community, fine dining and exciting night life in Victoria.

JUSTIN LAPOINTE Producer/Engineer/Studio Manager
Justin LaPointe is our in house Producer/Sound Engineer and Production Manager with over 10 years experience in professional audio. After studying Business and Economics at University of Victoria and Sound Engineering at Berklee College of Music, Justin cut his teeth as an
engineer at Electric City Sound in Victoria, BC. There, he worked with many local and international bands, artists, producers as well as movie/television projects. Since opening The Barnhouse Destination Studio he has recorded many local and non-local bands, Solo Artists, Pod Casts. Audiobooks, done sound design for movies and TV shows and big band/jazz/classical ensembles for local high schools and universities. Having mixed and mastered over 200 songs since opening, Justin has an impressive mix/master portfolio. Justin also plays guitar, writes and performs.
